Keep Moving For More Energy!

With the increasing amount of daylight and a greater amount of time that is able to be spent outside, summer is the perfect time to begin or get back into an exercise routine! Being outside even shows a strong connection to improved mood, and reduced stress and anxiety!

Are you in need of a little guidance on how to get started with an exercise and nutrition routine? Ask your local Hometown pharmacists about our new Evolve Wellness Programs!

Turn Down The Thermostat!

Ever wonder why is it so much harder to sleep when it’s hotter than normal? Your body is actually hardwired to slip into a sleep state when it’s cooler. In fact, as part of your body’s circadian rhythm, your internal temperature drops slightly as bedtime draws near!

It's Time For A Drink!

There’s going to be plenty of chances this summer for outdoor BBQ’s, summer parties, and beach days. We fully understand that it’s important to indulge sometimes and do what brings you happiness, but do so in a way your health won’t suffer later! If planning to drink, try and follow each drink with one tall glass of water in order to help jumpstart the detoxification process. Watching your calories and alcohol consumption but want a fun and festive drink? Try looking up some fun "mocktail" recipes!

Disconnect!

Even though these platforms are intended to bring joy and happiness, studies have shown that the more often people check social media accounts, texts, and email, the higher their stress may rise! It is difficult to disconnect in this day and age, but try it out! You may notice an improvement in your stress level immediately!
