March Tip The Scale Recipients
Our monthly Tip The Scale Award recognizes Hometown Pharmacy employees that go the extra mile in serving our communities. Patients, customers, and fellow coworkers can nominate employees that they feel deserves this recognition by filling out the Nomination Form on our website. Each month, we choose 2 employees to feature; an employee nominated by a coworker, and an employee nominated by a customer and/or patient.
Our first recipient this month is Christine Kerver from Rhinelander Hometown Pharamcy in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Christine has worked at Hometown Pharmacy for 4 years as a Pharmacy Technician.
Christine was nominated by 2 fellow coworkers for this award. One wrote that, "Christine is hands down the best pharmacy technician I've worked with in my 35 year pharmacy career...Her knowledge, organizational skills and work ethic are extremely valuable to me. It's my great pleasure to work with such a knowledgeable, professional and dedicated team member."
Another coworker wrote, "During the last few months, we have been missing two employees due to health issues. Christine is here early each and every day, does more than her fair share of work and always does it selflessly. A more dedicated employee I have never known."
Christine said delivering excellent patient care is always #1 on her list. From taking care of patients to solving issues with insurance, it's definitely a challenge -- but worth it!
Our second recipient this month is the team at Stevens Point Hometown Pharmacy in Stevens, Point, Wisconsin. Pictured left to right are employees Nha Khang and Tessa Garr. Not pictured is Lynn Nowak.
The Stevens Point Team was nominated by a customer who wrote, "The staff and service at Hometown are amazing. I didn’t think I would ever actually enjoy going to a pharmacy again when my last one closed... I had some very unpleasant experiences with big box pharmacies...But the staff at Hometown is incredible. They know who I am, they have excellent communication with my doctors, and do excellent work."
