On Thanksgiving morning, we participate in Turkey Trots around the state to get active & support local charities.
At Hometown, our employees and partners live and are involved in the communities they serve. You will see them out at health fairs, assisted living facilities, the local YMCA, schools and many other events supporting and educating community members on their health and encouraging wellness.
Hometown pharmacists and health coaches have many programs to improve our patients’ health from diabetes support to weight management to a total health and wellness program, which helps our patients improve quality of life including sleep, stress levels, nutrition and movement.
As independent pharmacies, Hometown Pharmacy understands the importance of supporting local businesses and organizations. We sponsor many high school sports teams, the arts, community and church events and donate to many causes, locally and on a corporate level.

Environmentally Conscious
Hometown Pharmacy is an environmentally conscious organization that takes steps to reduce our ecological footprint. One of the ways that we do this, is by giving patients reusable tote bags to use when they shop instead of plastic bags.

Community Involvement
Hometown Pharmacy strongly believes in giving back to the community in which we live and work. It is a part of our culture we have warmly embraced, and is seen through the number of events we regularly participate in and donate to.
Community Clean-Up
We care about our communities & keeping our Earth clean, so we complete numerous cleanups throughout the year.
We want our patients to have the correct info. when making healthcare decisions, so we enjoy speaking at senior centers, coffee shops, gyms, etc.
Every year, we collect donations to stock the shelves and local food pantries for families in need.
Charitable Giving

We donate funds to schools and students around the state for various reasons. We support our education systems and the students that are our future!
We raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation every October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Share Our Strength is a nonprofit organization that connects children in need with nutritious food. We understand the importance of a nutritious meal for a growing child & support this organization.
CCHS is a nonprofit that ensures the protection, sheltering and welfare of all animals in and around Columbia County. We have a soft spot in our hearts for these efforts.
In November, Hometown and Second Chance Heroes partnered to support the homeless community. They filled 100 backpacks and raised $2338.75 for their cause.
Patient Healthcare Initiatives
Hometown Pharmacy takes an active role in protecting the healthcare of our patients and is involved with supporting and passing legislation to benefit our patients. We are looking out for YOU!
SB26 is a billed signed to benefit Step Therapy in Wisconsin. The Governor signed the bill at Hometown Pharmacy in Janesville.
Hometown presented 11,000 handwritten patient signatures to support passing legislation to lower prescription drug costs and to protect our patients from harmful PBM practices.
Governor Evers signed a bill to allow pharmacists to administer vaccines prescribed by physicians. Hometown Pharmacist Jenni Villenueve was present for the signing.
Hometown pharmacists attended Assembly & Senate hearings to speak in favor of protecting our patients' healthcare.
