Cooking with Kids

We all know how much fun cooking can be, but how sweet is it with happy, spunky, creative, & lovable children teaching you? Whether it be a day off of school or a snow day, you can make lunchtime A LOT of fun with your kiddos. Grab a few of their favorite snacks and get creative.

Don't forget to make it FUN - Get them aprons or tell them they can make their own cooking TV show!

This is not only fun, but it's also a good way for them to learn some basics on cooking. They can practice their math skills and work together as a team.

My kids love making these Pepperoni Cheese Stick Roll-Ups for their lunch. They also make a great after school treat! We hope you give them a try!

Another one of our favorites that Hometown Pharmacy carries is made by Stonewall Kitchen. Pictured is the Rosemary Parmesan Quick Bread Mix. It's great for a get together with friends or a football Sunday game. All you need for this bread mix is 12 oz of club soda or beer (your choice) and 2 TBSP of olive oil. Mix all together, bake, and enjoy. Smell the homemade deliciousness!  You can find this item in most of our stores.
