Vitamin-C More Than Just Oranges!

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that’s found in many foods, particularly fruits and vegetables. It’s well known for being a highly potent antioxidant, as well as having positive effects on skin health and immune function! It is also vital for collagen synthesis, connective tissue, bones, teeth and your small blood vessels (Healthline.com)

Your body is unable to produce adequate amounts of vitamin C, meaning you need to get it from your diet! The current daily value (DV) for vitamin C is right around 90 mg!

Due to its function as an antioxidant and its role in immune function, vitamin C has been promoted as a means to help prevent and/or treat numerous health conditions. Vitamin C Deficiency symptoms may include bleeding gums, frequent bruising and infections, poor wound healing, anemia and  even scurvy.
